Why is another bank named on your personal loan?

Quick answer

The name on a loan site may differ from the lender on your loan. One company can market the loan while another makes it. A third may handle your payments. Check each role in your own terms. Then you know whom to ask about a bill or an error.

The legal lender can sit behind the brand

The creditor is the legal lender. The website may belong to a company that helps you apply but does not make the loan. Read the names on the final agreement.
