Rung Financial

Editorial policy

See how we research, check, and correct our work.

Last updated August 30, 2026

This policy covers how we research, write, review, and update everything on Rung. It applies to every page. And it sits above any business deal we have.

Sourcing

Costs and terms come from providers' own disclosures, public filings, and other primary sources. Where we model a cost, we show our assumptions in plain sight. Anything we estimate is labeled as such until we replace it with cited figures. We don't restate marketing claims as fact.

Review

Rung Editorial researches, writes, and checks the current launch edition. We compare claims with the linked sources, test the math, and check each page against our house standard. We do not describe a page as reviewed by an outside expert unless that person's name, credential, and review date appear on the page.

Independence from revenue

The editorial team draws conclusions from cited evidence and the checks on this page. Business deals are handled separately. They cannot change a conclusion or a “wrong for you” section. See how we make money for the full separation.

The offer boundary

Rung is an independent publisher, not a lender or credit decision-maker. Rung does not issue loans or set rates or terms. A guide or calculator stays useful if you never open a paid link.

When you choose a paid link, you leave Rung for a partner site. The partner collects any application information and gets any credit-check consent. Rung does not collect or send your identity, credit, income, debt, or calculator data.

Updates & corrections

Dates on a page must reflect a real check or update. We re-check changing figures before a page enters the index and after a major change to product terms. If you spot an error, email corrections@rungfinancial.com. We correct confirmed errors and note a change when it could alter a reader's decision.
