What we collect

If you email Rung, we receive your address and anything you send. Do not email account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive records.

Rung uses Vercel for hosting and Web Analytics. Analytics records aggregate page views, referral sources, broad location, browser, operating system, and device type. It does not use third-party cookies or build a cross-site profile. Vercel may process network data needed to deliver and secure the site.

Rung loads Google Tag Manager to run approved measurement tags. Google receives the network and device data needed to load the Tag Manager container. Rung does not put your identity, credit, income, debt, or calculator data in the container. The tags Rung publishes control what other measurement runs.

When an offer is available, Rung may record the offer type, source page, placement, partner ID, and whether you opened the handoff. These events do not include your identity, credit, income, debt, or calculator inputs and results.

Rung uses session storage in your browser to remember the offer type, source page, placement, partner ID, and campaign ID while you move through the handoff. Rung does not put identity, credit, income, debt, or calculator data in that storage.

How we use it

We use this information to run and secure Rung, see which pages help readers, and answer messages. We do not use it to make lending, credit, insurance, or employment decisions.

Sharing

Vercel processes hosting and analytics data for Rung. Google processes data needed to load Tag Manager and run approved measurement tags. Our email provider processes messages you send. We may disclose information if law requires it or to protect the site from abuse.

A paid link opens an approved partner destination. Rung does not attach your identity, credit, income, debt, or calculator data to that link. The partner collects any application information and gets any credit-check consent on its own site. The partner's privacy policy applies once you leave Rung.

Sale, sharing, and retention

Rung does not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run advertising cookies today.

Vercel says its Web Analytics visitor identifier is discarded after 24 hours. Rung keeps aggregate analytics under its Vercel account settings. We keep email only as long as needed to answer it, keep business records, or meet a legal duty. Read Vercel's Web Analytics privacy details.

Rung may earn money if you continue through a paid link. That payment does not give the partner your identity or the financial and calculator data that Rung does not collect.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a request decision. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify it.
